Fue presidente del CRID, vice-presidente de ATTAC y miembro fundador de la AITEC (Association Internationale des Techniciens, Experts et Chercheur). Es ingeniero, urbanista y economista. Desde los a\u00f1os sesenta particip\u00f3 \u00a0del movimiento anticolonialista franc\u00e9s, antiimperialista y de solidaridad con el Tercer Mundo.
